New task force to work with manufacturers

Production Manager Marc Burlong and Sales Office Manager Heather Wragg are now heading up a team to work direct with manufacturers, to give support to their specific range of needs.

Most of Labelon’s business is derived from the major retail brands that specify what they want to see in the High Street. However, the job of actually manufacturing the garments – and putting Labelon labels into them – falls to the manufacturers. Recognising their need for support on issues relating directly to manufacture, Labelon has set up a manufacturers’ task force.

Heather Wragg (Labelon’s Sales Office Manager) and Marc Burlong (Production Manager) are spearheading the initiative. “It’s important to understand the issues that manufacturers face on a day-to-day basis,” Heather explained.

“Of course it’s the main customer that specifies what goes where, but in reality it’s down to the manufacturer to make it happen and we want to show our support in a practical way to make sure the manufacturing process goes smoothly.”

Marc and Heather will be in contact with manufactures over the next few months. However, in the meantime if you want to make contact with them over any issue, please let them know – and
