Labelon investing in people

Labelon UK are making a commitment that they will actively encourage and support their employees to gain the skills and qualifications that will meet the needs of our business and support their future employability.

Since joining the Labelon group as sales office manager for the UK in 2007, Heather Wragg has actively been encouraging the training of staff in Customer Service and administration qualifications. Rebecca Ashwell, part of the Arcadia team at Labelon recently completed her NVQ level 2 Certificate in customer service and was delighted with the opportunity given to her,

“It’s great; it’s helped me with aspects of my work and understanding our customers needs. I’ve also realised how much I already knew. Now I have a qualification to show for it.”

Becky is the third member of the sales team to complete NVQ level 2 qualification with a further 3 undergoing the training now. Another 4 members of the team are also taking part in the “Finding and Keeping Customers” training day.

By making the Skills Pledge we are making a public commitment, backed by Government, to develop the skills of the workforce in line with our organisation’s needs. The purpose of the Skills Pledge is to ensure that all staff are skilled, competent, committed and able to make a full contribution to our success.
